Gaming on a budget! 3 non-expensive decks to get started in Pokémon TCG

Hello everyone! This is Elena from Gaia Storm TCG and it is a pleasure to be here once again. Have you ever wanted to get started into Pokémon Trading Card Game but everything seems too expensive? Do you only have a limited budget and can't build any of the top tier decks? Don't worry! There are still hope! In this article, we are going to be covering some very viable options for you to get started without needing to invest a lot of money from the beginning. Please bear in mind that while these options are not the most competitive strategies, it will still provide you with a solid base to start playing your first Standard tournaments and get rewards.

1- Cinccino Mad Party
The first budget deck you can try to build now is Mad Party with the support of Cincinno . Without the inclusion of two-prize support Pokémon (Dedenne GX and Crobat V), the core of the deck is very cheap (16 Mad Party attackers and a 3-3 Line of Cincinno from Sword and shield) and can hit very hard once it has set up. The only issue is that the first turns are going to be a bit difficult specially but if you are able to evolve a couple of Polteageist or Cincinnos, you are probably going to be finding every card you need in the later turns.

2- Cinderace from Sword and Shield
Cinderace might not be the strongest of the fire type Pokémon but it can still pack a punch! This Stage 2 is able to consistently deal 190 damage every turn, which is more than enough to two-hit KO any Pokémon in the format. And considering how popular Zacian V is right now (with its weakness to metal), it is not a bad pick. Something interesting about this deck is that it will get slightly better with Chiliing Reign, the upcoming expansion, and the fact that post-rotation doesn’t loose anything important so it is an investment for now and for the long-term future.

3- Charizard Leon
This one is a personal favorite and the most powerful budget deck I would say. Charizard from Rebel Clash has a very good attack that is able to deal massive amounts of damage depending on the number of Leon you have in your discard pile. What is great about this deck is that the core can be found in the standard Theme deck from Vivid Voltage, making it a very accessible and immediate option for new players. All you need to do is buy a couple of decks and then invest in some consistency cards like Jirachi from Team Up or Oricorio GX.
And that was all! I would highly recommend you to check CCG Castle to pick some of the cards included here and get ready to play tournaments. Thanks for reading!
