Starting off with the 2E Premiere set, which comes in both boosters and starter decks, we see some already great characters to enjoy and play with - such as Benjamin Sisko, Beverly Crusher, the mighty B’Etor Klingon, Deanna Troi, Jean-Luc Picard, and even Kathryn Janeway! Energize was the second set to come out in this edition, with greats like Ezri Dax, Chakotay, the starship Fortune, Keido O’Brien and Thomas Riker! One of the toughest sets to find of all of the Decipher Inc games, is the Necessary Evil Set. Boxes are almost non existent, and singles and foils are so rare they are almost impossible to find anywhere. This set sold out very fast and was not produced in much quantity, so they are very rare collector’s items if you can find them still sealed! Another brand new Reflections 2.0 set came out for the Second Edition, with a special new foil sub-set, a mix of older cards reprinted, and some brand new foil versions for collectors to enjoy finding! The game also saw quite a few special Promotional cards, from tournaments, events, releases, judging giveaways, and more, as the organized play for this game started up. In fact, the Continuing Committee still supports this game, making new “virtual” sets for players to enjoy every year, and even holds a World Championship for it! Some of the last sets of the second edition produced include In A Mirror Darkly, These are the Voyages, Captain’s Log and What you Leave Behind. The last set was distributed exclusively through one company, and is among the more rare sets to find, especially sealed product.
